Thoughts
A little backstory to this artwork, i created it during the week of the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 17. Back before season 2 aired I had always daydreamed what would it look like when Sukuna summoned malevolent shrine, I was imagining that the giant shrine bursts enormously from the ground being distorted/elongated.
I think I really did well in showcasing the massive scale here. I was actually praying Shiro Sagisu would make a soundtrack for this scene, like how in manga fan edits of Sukuna vs Mahoraga they used “Ultimate Soldier” OST( If you know you know). Creating the Shrine leaning towards Mahoraga made it look like it is about to eat it with his giant mouth, what a wonderful result.
This Artwork also helped me gain a lot of traction and followers back then, so I am still thankful to it. I hoped those who had witnessed this on twitter 3 years ago may find this website and artwork again! Lets reconnect!
